2009-2010 Financial Aid Notification Brochure and Lenders

The Financial Aid Notification (FAN) Brochure is a document that explains how to read and understand the Financial Aid Notification, often referred to as the Award Letter. KCTCS is made up of 16 colleges and not all of the colleges handle the dissemination of information to students the same way. Some will use traditional methods, others will use electronic methods, and some will use a combination of both.  In an attempt to accommodate many sources, this document has been placed on this website as a convenient, quick, and easy reference source for our students and colleges to use in the financial aid awarding process. Should you have questions that surround your financial aid awards that are not covered in the FAN Brochure, please contact your Financial Aid Office.

2009-2010 Lender Lists

The KCTCS lender list is the Lender List that is approved for use for the 2009-2010 Aid Year by all KCTCS Colleges. Students receiving FFELP Stafford Loan(s) must go on line, review and select a lender from the lender list before their FFELP Stafford loan(s) can be processed and completed.

GATEWAY STUDENTS -- PLEASE NOTE: There is a separate Lender List for Gateway college students. Gateway students must use a separate set of instructions to e-signing the promissory note. Gateway college students, please use ONLY the Lender List for Gateway College.
