At KCTCS Online, we believe that every American deserves an affordable, high-quality college education. We've designed our programs to meet the needs of a diverse spectrum of students, from working professionals to recent high school graduates.
Since KCTCS Online represents a new learning model (see the orientation) for many of our students, we want to make sure that you fully understand all of your rights as a KCTCS Online student as well as your responsibilities to adhere to some basic regulations and academic policies.
Learning contract
As part of the application process, we ask each KCTCS Online student to sign our learning contract. The learning contract explains more about how the module system works. It also clarifies how long you have to complete each module and the order in which you should complete them.

Credit you deserve
At KCTCS Online, you'll never have to work through a module that you already know. If you can pass the pre-test and post-test, we'll immediately award you credit for the module. Learn more about credit for prior knowledge.
