Student Self-Service
KCTCS Online uses a student information system called Student Self-Service that can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Student Self-Service allows you to register for courses, choose your start dates, review your class schedule, financial aid, billing information, and pay your bill. And to make these services even easier to use, we have developed a series of online tutorials to make sure that you have the information necessary to take advantage of all the tools and services that we offer.
- Don’t have a Student Self-Service account? Once you apply online, you will receive instructions on how to set up your KCTCS user profile in the KCTCS User Account Center.
- Need assistance logging into Student Self-Service? Contact us and we’ll be glad to help!
- Forgot your password? Go to the KCTCS User Account Center to reset your password!
Once you are a KCTCS Online student you can register for KCTCS Online courses through Student Self-Service. Course registration is open 24 hours a day, 365 days. Course modules start every day. After you register for a course module, you can start participating in that class usually in less than 24 hours.
If you are currently registered for a KCTCS Online course module you can add additional courses through Student Self-Service. This includes online course modules (courses that are components of the full course), traditional online courses, and face-to-face classroom courses at KCTCS colleges.
When you use your Student Self-Service account you will have all these options when you click on "Add a class”. If you want to refine your search options when looking for classes, try these tips: To search only KCTCS Online courses, search by session type and look for “OEE” (Open Entry) or search by mode of instruction and look for “VL” (Virtual Learning) courses. You can also search by instructor, campus, key word, and class number. You can use just one or any combination of these to search for classes.
