During the application process, you will be asked:
To select a Home College.
KCTCS Online is affiliated with the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS), which is comprised of 16 colleges and 67 campuses across Kentucky. Your Home College is the accredited KCTCS college that will be your contact for transcripts, grades, graduation, advising, appeals, etc. If you do not select a Home College, one will be selected for you. You can contact your home college for assistance online 24/7 through the KCTCS Online Student Services Help Desk. Remember that KCTCS Online is delivered 100% online and you should never need to be on location at your Home College.
To provide your Social Security Number or National ID.
Although you are not required to provide your Social Security Number (SSN) or National ID (NID), not providing one will delay processing of your application. Staff at your Home Campus will be required to manually search existing records to prevent creation of a duplicate record to complete the application process.
